Christmas SAL Block 6
Well, here we are again. This week we have Block 6 of the SewHappy sew along – Angel Blessings.
You need to go to Christmas SAL 6 to download the pattern. The Sewalong is now finished.
The complete Christmas Stitchery Banner pattern is now available to purchase in my Pattern Shop.
I thought you might like to see a few photos that I have received showing a couple of different things that some of the sewalongers have done with their SAL blocks.
Kalli has embroidered hers with coloured threads. A nice idea, which I think quite a few of you may have done.
I love these ones that Gladys has done. White stitching on a red background. What a lovely idea.
You can follow her progress on Gladys’ blog.
And here are some delightful little bags that Monichka has made for sweets.
Aren’t they cute! You can follow Monichka’s blog too.
Well, we only have two weeks to go now. The final block will be next Friday and then the following week I will publish the instructions for making your blocks into a banner.
Finally, a little note to remind you to pop over to my blog next Monday for the Mrs. T tortoise pincushion pattern and a new Giveaway. Yay! You have to be in it to win it!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us. It has been so fun stitching these. I’m doing three sets as gifts so it keeps me busy. Love the red background with white stitching. Very pretty. Thanks again for the patterns. Nola

Thanks, again another wonderful design. I should be done last weeks Christmas tree tonight. I think I only have the word “tree” left to do. So I should be able to start the sweet angel tomorrow.

Hi Lesley, we are a little late to the party, but wanted to say that the angel – and the whole project – is wonderful. We featured your SAL today at Quilt Inspiration in an article on Redwork. You can see the article here: http://quiltinspiration.blogspot.com/2011/11/free-pattern-day-redwork-part-2.html . Thanks so much for your inspiring designs. We hope you have a very happy holiday.
