SewHappy Sewalong

I am really excited to announce the start of the SewHappy Christmas Sewalong. And here it is…..

I have so enjoyed sketching and then stitching these Christmas stitchery patterns and I am really pleased with the final result.

Each little block measures 7″ x 6″ and they are oh so simple to stitch, using only back stitch and french knots.

I will share the patterns for this Christmas Stitchery banner over the next eight weeks, so you can easily have this ready in time for  Christmas. Each Friday I will publish the pattern and instructions for one stitchery block – there are seven in total – and in the final week I will show you how to put them all together to make your Christmas bunting.

It would be nice to compile a list of participants to see how many we have joining in the fun. So, if you plan to take part email me your name.

Note: I have had such a tremendous response to this I am no longer able to add names to the list as I’m afraid it has taken up too much time, but you are still able to take part and you will find the pattern on my blog each Friday for one week only. It will be in the right hand side under SAL. Remember to download the patterns each week. I am unable to email patterns out.

If you have a blog it would be nice if you could add my SewHappy Sewalong button to your blog (you will find it in my right hand side bar) and then you can register your blog address in the “Magical Widget’ in the  Sewalong Participants and it will list your blog address.

In order to prepare for the first pattern next Friday go to SewHappy Sewalong for your requirements list.

I hope you like my Christmas bunting and decide to join in the fun.

Sew long for now until Friday’s Sewalong!

  1. These are “sew” cute!! Just a side note if you are with Twitter….you can make a special listing under your account and all participants could join through twitter and share experiences and know who is involved….just a suggestion.

  2. Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon on a daily basis.
