Easter Sewalong Part One

Well here we are. It’s Monday and time to begin our little Easter Sewalong…………

The Easter Egg Hunt Bag

Bunny Bag

I am glad you were all so enthusiastic and have decided to join in the fun. Here is a list of the Easter Sewalong Bloggers amongst you who are taking part. Do pop over to their blogs later this week and take a look at how they are getting along with their Sewalongs. (I do hope you  Sewalong bloggers will post some pictures of your progress on your blogs together with a link back to SewHappy.Me). For the rest of you taking part without blogs I have created a Flickr group where you can add your photos for others to see

Now I had quite a few requests for a boy bunny too. How sensible. Why didn’t I think of that?! So yesterday I quickly drew out a design and made up a sample which I am including with today’s instructions. Here is the little feller…….

Boy Bunny Appliqué

I hope you like him.

So, let’s get started. Today we will be sewing the appliquéd bunny for the front of the bag. Boy or girl. Your choice.

You need to go to Easter Bunny Bag for Part 1 instructions for your Easter Sewalong.

I hope you manage to start sewing today because Part 2 will be available on Wednesday.

Happy Sewalonging……..

  1. Thanks! I love the boy bunny, too!

  2. Would have been a great idea but unfortunately he is away at the moment and not back before Valentines Day. Huh! The lengths some people go to in order to avoid Valentine’s Day. 🙂 Still at least it gives me more sewing time. Hurrah!

  4. Cute Easter bag! I was just looking around and clicked on your Love Cushion from 2011 — black with yoyos. You had an idea to display it ahead of Valentine’s day to remind your husband! It’s time! Get it out and put it in his favorite chair! 😉
